Stats & facts

Real answers for the farmers who feed India.

Indian farming runs on small plots, uncertain rain, and advice that rarely arrives in time. Saarthi answers crop, weather and market questions in the farmer's own language.

About us

Why choose us

Built on real government and scientific data. Every figure carries the survey or service it came from, and nothing is shown that the system cannot back up.

Agriculture only. The assistant declines anything outside farming, and a low-confidence scan is never presented as a diagnosis.

EfficientNetB0, served as its own versioned API so the model can be rolled forward without touching the platform.

Punjab, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan verify a plot against Bhunaksha, the government cadastral service, down to its real khasra number.

Principles

The honest part

What the system will not do matters as much as what it will. These three rules are enforced in code, not promised in copy.

Rule 01

Advice stays locked until the land is registered.

Guidance about an unidentified field is worse than none, so the five agents will not run before a plot is verified.

Rule 02

Bhunaksha confirms which plot a point sits in, but serves boundaries as images, not coordinates.

So a verified plot says exactly that, rather than implying a survey that does not exist. Where a state portal cannot be read, the interface says so and says why.

Rule 03

A low-confidence scan is never dressed up as a diagnosis.

The leaf scanner reports what it is unsure about. Every figure elsewhere is labelled with the survey or service it came from.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

How land verification, the agent pipeline and the disease scanner actually behave — including where they stop.

Punjab, Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan work end to end. Choosing District → Tehsil → Patwar → Village confirms the plot against Bhunaksha and returns its real khasra number. Land that Bhunaksha does not know is still registered, with the boundary drawn from the stated area and an honest note left for the administrator.

Data collection, analysis, decision, monitoring and memory run in sequence and produce a costed action plan with a risk score. They stay locked until land is registered, because advice about an unidentified field is worse than none.

Soil texture and pH from ISRIC SoilGrids, elevation from ASTER, live weather from Open-Meteo, mandi prices from Agmarknet, and nearby suppliers and banks from OpenStreetMap. Every figure on screen is labelled with the survey or service it came from.

It is an EfficientNetB0 model across 27 classes, served as its own versioned API. Low-confidence results are not presented as diagnoses — the scanner reports what it is unsure about rather than guessing.

Yes. An Android app built in Jetpack Compose across 20 screens and a WhatsApp bot both talk to the same backend. Every farmer has an account ID for support and a Farmer ID they read out to the bot; one call returns their entire record.
